THANKS TO OUR SPONSORS PICTURE

Here is our "Thanks to our Sponsors" picture for 2022.  I am on the right and Gary "Duck" Drake, my Transit Driver is on the left.  We will be using my 2008 Corvette again this year.  In addition to the Sponsors, I would like to thank Kurt Steidle for completing this picture for me.  Thanks to Whitmoyer Auto Group, Engle Printing (Where and When Magazine), Top of the Line Roofing, Krunch Kritters Body Shop, Two Cousins Pizza & Italian Restaurant and Dan Butz Cornwell Tool Truck.

I am getting ready for this years event in which we will compete in early May.  The event will be about 3400 miles.  With the miles to South Bend and back home, the total will be almost 4,800 miles in about 8 days.

Gary "Duck" Drake from Hamilton, Ohio will be my Transit Driver again this year, helping with the highway miles, and I will do all the competition driving.  Duck is a car guy and is a great asset on our adventure. This will be my 14th One Lap and we have raised over Forty three Thousand dollars for the Pa. Breast Cancer Coalition over the years.  Make a donation and you can ride along "vicariously" (with your name on the top of the car) on the trip and help a great cause at the same time.  The Pa. Breast Cancer Coalition, represents, supports and serves breast cancer survivors and their families in Pennsylvania through educational programming, legislative advocacy and breast cancer research grants.

To make a donation and get a sticker on the car, stop in at the store or send to Jim Roberts % West Main Auto, 14 W. Main St. Mount Joy, Pa. 17552 along with who to name on the sticker.  Make all checks payable to PBCC for short.  You can also visit https://www.pabreastcancer.org/one-lap-of-america/ and donate by using your credit card.  I am struggling to reach my fundraising goal this year, so I appreciate your generosity. This is a terrible disease that has touched the lives of many of our friends and loved ones, Thank you for considering a donation.

To help follow the adventure, I still maintain a blog at www.onelapadventure.blogspot.com where you can also find older stories. Or you can "Like" my Facebook page at Jim's One Lap Adventure. Keep watching for more updates.

ONE LAP OF AMERICA ROUTE MAP FOR 2023

Here is this years route map for our One Lap of America event.  The event starts in South Bend, Indiana but MY trip starts back in  Pennsylvania.

After beginning the competition with a Wet Skid Pad event at Tire Rack's facility
in South Bend on Saturday we head to Grissom Air Force Base then to Nelson Ledges in eastern Ohio.  Then it's 700 miles off to Atlanta to Road Atlanta Grand Prix Course, After Atlanta we have a shorter drive to the Nashville Superspeedway Roval.  We do two events at each road course then head to the next track.  Another long transit to Eagles Canyon in Texas for Wednesday.  The same day we have a short drive north to Thunder Valley Raceway Park for 2 drag strip events, then north to Oklahoma to Hallet Motor Racing Circuit for Thursday's events.  When we are complete at Hallett we have another long transit of almost 700 miles to the National Corvette Museum Motorsport Park Road Course.  After the 2 events on Friday we head back to South Bend to finish up on Saturday.  The last competitive event for the week will be the Dry Skid Pad event back in South Bend.  The event route will be about 3400 miles in about a week, plus the miles from Pa. and back home again.
I am still raising funds for the Pa. Breast Cancer Coalition and anyone who donates I will put their name, on a sticker on the roof on my Corvette so you can ride along vicariously.  See me to donate or you can donate on line by credit card at https://www.pabreastcancer.org/one-lap-of-america/
